Registered Nurse

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center team.  Successful team members will have a desire to learn new skills and work without direct supervision.

General Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Ambulatory Surgery Director, the successful team members will prepare patients for outpatient surgery services.

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
  • Ability to learn and develop new skills and work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively with many people across a broad range of cultural backgrounds and ages.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate patient care.
  • Knowledge of current standards of care including patient turnover and discharge criteria.

Operating Room Technician

Friendly Operating Room Technician needed for busy ophthalmic surgery center. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and perform a variety of tasks. Must be familiar with standard concepts and procedures related to operating room function. Will work under general supervision and report to Director of Nursing.  The successful candidate will be friendly and enjoy being around people and helping patients.

General Duties:

  • Maintains and keeps the operating room and ensures everything is running smoothly before conduct of surgery
  • Cleanse and disinfect surgical instruments and or equipment according to established protocol
  • Assist in bringing patient in and out of operating room
  • Assist surgeon during procedures
  • Maintain sterile fields and use sterile technique
  • Maintain and operate equipment in the operating suite

Qualifications:

  • We will train people with good work ethics and positive attitudes
  • Prefer CST, CORST or Medical Assistant, but not required

Compensation:

Ophthalmic Technicians

We are looking for fun, patient focused people with strong interpersonal skills to join our vision team.

General Duties:

  • Comfortable gathering and recording patient and exam information in an EHR environment
  • Taking anatomical and functional ocular measurements
  • Preparing and administering medications
  • Providing ophthalmic and optometric information and education to our patients
  • Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic and optometric instruments
  • Assisting our ophthalmologists and optometrists in basic procedures

Qualifications:

We prefer, but do not require candidates to have one of the following designations: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT), Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and/or Certified Paraoptometric Technician. While we prefer applicants have these skills, we are willing to train people with great attitudes and work ethics.

Compensation:

A competitive compensation and benefits package offered. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

 

*Travel between the two offices may be required. Other requirements include good verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Medical assisting/technician experience is a preferred, but will train the right individual.
