Laser Vision Center
Customized for You
At ReVision, our doctors will work along side you to customize a treatment based on your individual needs. Some of the factors that will determine whether or not you are a good LASIK candidate will include: your health; the health of your eye; previous surgeries; corneal thickness, etc. Once you have been determined a candidate for LASIK, we will work with you to customize your treatment. Designing a LASIK treatment for you will factor in your lifestyle, hobbies and occupation. Our goal is to provide you with spectacle-free living.
LASIK over-40
Natural vision for near objects begins to decline over the age of forty. The term for this condition is ‘presbyopia.’ Although LASIK does not specifically treat this natural aging condition, there are custom treatments for your specific case that may be able to compensate for this loss of near, crisp vision. One such treatment is called ‘monovision.’ Many patients choose this with contact lens wear, and the same visual results can be expected with LASIK. With monovision, one eye is treated for distance vision, and one eye is treated for near. The brain will adjust to the difference, and automatically focus in the distance with the distance eye, and similarly for close-up.

Visit Our Cataract Center
Cataract patients now have the option to have their vision corrected to allow them to see at both near and far distances after cataract surgery! These lens implants provide significantly reduced dependence on glasses for all tasks of daily living, providing a range of focus that laser vision correction cannot achieve. Individuals with visual impairment suffering from cataracts previously had only a mono-focal lens implant option after surgery.
