REmoteVISION Telemedicine

As COVID-19 changes the way we live, ReVision is committed to delivering uninterrupted vision care in the safest way possible. To do this, we are offering REmoteVISION telemedicine visits that allow ReVision doctors to effectively address many vision topics with you from the comfort of your home.

Using Telemedicine

Telemedicine provides an important alternative to in-office visits as we continue to practice physical distancing to slow the spread of the coronavirus. These visits help ReVision bridge the gap and allow us to continue to provide quality vision care and education to patients.

Many vision topics can be effectively addressed during a telemedicine visit with a ReVision physician. ReVision doctors can also perform initial consultations for cataract procedures and determine candidacy for LASIK vision correction using Telemedicine.

Most importantly, telemedicine affords our doctors the opportunity to personally connect with you. Through a personal conversation via phone or video chat, we invite you to share how you are feeling and any symptoms you are experiencing. Based on this conversation and a telemedicine evaluation, our doctors will recommend the best course of treatment.

If your doctor determines an in-office visit is appropriate, a ReVision team member will contact you to schedule that appointment. Rest assured, ReVision is taking additional safety and distancing precautions to minimize exposure to COVID-19 while delivering care to patients visiting our Clinic.

If you are experiencing any eye or vision concerns, or would like to learn more about your options for LASIK, cataract, or other vision correction procedures, please contact ReVision for a Telemedicine consultation.

Are REmoteVISION Telemedicine Visits Covered by Insurance?

In most cases, Telemedicine visits are covered by medical insurance. Complimentary services – such as LASIK consultations – continue to be provided free of charge when performed through Telemedicine. The ReVision Team will contact you prior to your Telemedicine visit to collect insurance information and answer any billing questions you may have.

We are happy to answer your questions.
