Ophthalmic Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking an individual with a positive attitude, strong integrity and a passion for service. Responsible for preparing the patient for the exam and beginning the examination with standard Ophthalmic Testing and measurements. Responsible to consistently execute the ReVision Service Mission standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patient medical and vision history both past and present
  • Ophthalmic testing and measurements as ordered by the physician
  • Provide consistent and accurate documentation as an ophthalmic scribe
  • Administer drops as ordered the physician
  • Electronically transmit prescriptions as ordered by the physician
  • Provide patient education on current diagnoses, surgical procedure options and medications
  • Assist physician in minor in-office procedures
  • Ophthalmic equipment cleaning and maintenance
  • Returning patient phone calls and effectively triage emergent patient inquiries
  • Represent ReVision in a patient-centric and service minded manner

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent

First Impressions Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

ReVision LASIK and Cataract Surgery Center is committed to a high touch patient experience. We are seeking an individual with an authentically positive attitude, and an above and beyond service approach to be a First Impression Care Coordinator to our patients. Responsible for the check in and check out processes, back up for all clerical positions. Responsible to consistently execute the ReVision Service Mission standards. Full-time position available.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer phones and accurately schedule patient appointments
  • Patient check in and check out procedures
  • Process medical record requests
  • Triage emergent patient calls
  • Submit daily appointment confirmation report
  • Monthly patient recall submission
  • Scanning of patient records
  • Educate patients on the use of patient portal
  • Daily reconciliation of monies collected
  • Any other functions as requested by management
