Advocating for Franklin County Kids

 

Friends of CASA Franklin County is a tremendously important nonprofit that supports CASA of Franklin County. CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, is a group of community volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children.

HOW FRIENDS OF CASA HELPS

Friends of CASA is truly a ‘friend’ of the volunteer advocates, known as guardians ad litem (GAL). Through the nonprofit’s fundraising efforts, GALs receive numerous hours of initial and ongoing training delivered by experts on topics that will help them effectively advocate for the youth they serve. GET INVOLVED

Friends of CASA also facilitates outreach initiatives to educate the community about advocacy and volunteer opportunities to help children in the court system. The ReVision Gives Back donation will help Friends of CASA further their mission of advocacy and support for children in Franklin County facing difficult life circumstances.
