ReVision Gives Back
We have accomplished some amazing things, both in and outside of the surgery room, over the past few years. One of our constant successes is our ReVision Gives Back program. ReVision Gives Back was founded with the intent to select and serve local non-profit groups, schools, or charities in our community. We strongly believe in giving back to the people in the communities where we practice and live.
In 2015, ReVision Gives Back raised over $13,000 just giving to those in need in our community and have given over $40,000 to date. We were also nominated for the Corporate Caring Awards through Business First in the small business category. We didn’t win the award, but the honor to be nominated by those we helped was the win.
January’s ReVision Gives Back recipient was Fellowship of Christian Optometrist Group. FCO helps raise money in support of 1st and 2nd year OSU optometry students to send students to Jamaica to perform eye exams, surgery follow ups and screen children’s eyes. They collectively help over 1,000 patients. Please consider supporting this important group of our future Optometrist. www.fcojamaicamission.myevent.com
During the month of February, ReVision Gives Back to OSU Star House, a drop-in center for homeless youth in Central Ohio. They provide outreach and resources for homeless youth, offering basic needs including food and clothing. Star House is a safe place for youths can find stabilizing resources like counseling, housing and employment opportunities.
