Giving is Music to Our Ears

Giving is music to our ears, which makes local nonprofit, Music Columbus, the perfect ReVision Gives Back honoree! Music Columbus builds new generations of musicians by putting instruments in the hands of youth while also helping up-and-coming musicians prosper in the business of music. The Gift of Music is the nonprofit’s annual flagship donation program with a goal of receiving instrument and monetary donations to then gift to local students. Public donations have made it possible for various local schools to bring music programs into the classroom. Without the leadership of Music Columbus, these programs would not be possible.

Music Columbus also fosters the careers of aspiring musicians and those interested in pursuing careers in the music industry. The Earn As You Learn program invites students to become interns at various music-related businesses to get real-world experience. Musicians receive support from Music Columbus’ Better Together Music Incubator program and Music Monday workshops. These programs help musicians and bands take the next step in their careers by providing guidance and networking.

The ReVision Gives Back donation will support the continued efforts of Music Columbus to nurture a community where people can prosper in the business of music and also cultivate a new generation of musicians.
