Experience
Dr. Vij is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and cornea specialist, specializing in cataract, refractive, and corneal surgeries. He is an Akron, Ohio native and completed an accelerated seven-year combined program, earning his bachelor’s, master’s, and medical degrees. Dr. Vij has authored and published numerous abstracts and papers throughout his training and has presented frequently at national conferences. He is passionate about practicing safe, ethical care and is dedicated to doing what is best for his patients.

- Fellowship in cornea, refractive, and external disease at the University of Florida
- Ophthalmology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City
- Internal medicine internship at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
