Experience
Dr. Erdey is a board-certified ophthalmologist with nearly 40 years of experience in cataract, corneal, and vision-correction surgery. Since establishing his Columbus practice in 1992, and his ambulatory surgery center shortly thereafter, he has performed over 45,000 procedures and is recognized for introducing innovative surgical techniques to Central Ohio, including PRK, LASIK, implantable contact lenses (ICL) and advanced corneal transplantation techniques.
Education
- He has remained actively involved in research, teaching, and FDA clinical trials that helped bring today’s advanced vision-correction technologies to patients.
- Fellowship training in Cornea and Refractive surgery at The Ohio State University.
- Ophthalmology residency at North Shore–Cornell University Medical College in New York, where he served as Chief Resident.
