Serving Meals Serves the Community

Fighting food insecurity and providing a place for people to connect. These are the essential services Community Kitchen, Inc. brings to our community. This outstanding nonprofit is committed to a ‘no questions asked’ policy to ensure clients are never required to explain or justify their need for food.

MEALS FOR EVERYONE

Clients can stop in one of Community Kitchen, Inc’s two community dining center locations and receive a free breakfast and/or lunch meal served Monday through Friday. A reservation or referral is not needed to partake in meal services. Community Kitchen, Inc. also creates family dining experiences for holidays and other special occasions to allow families to enjoy a meal together.

DONATE ITEMS & VOLUNTEER TIME

Meals are prepared in the center by a small but mighty kitchen staff. Community Kitchen, Inc. relies on donations of supplies and volunteer time from the community. Most needed donation items include canned/boxed food, packaged snacks, bread items, spices, coffee, and kitchen paper products. Those interested in volunteering time can do so by assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and stocking the nonprofit’s food storage area. WATCH VIDEO to see most needed donation items.

The ReVision Gives Back donation will help Community Kitchen, Inc. purchase food items and kitchen supplies used to serve clients daily nourishing meals. ReVision is proud to support this outstanding nonprofit and its commitment to serve the community by serving meals.
